The manual says that adding a new Profile reset. For other errors it says to contact a local service agent. There are 6 mentions of 'Reset' in the manual.
I wouldn't fix the jar, just buy a new one. A crack, though rare, could possibly harbor bacteria. You could try using heat and melting it, but it wouldn't work as well. Your jar may still be under warranty, call Blendtec at 801-222-0888
