Need a diagram to understand how to install a delay compressor kit. model number 3314352.018

The starting device is a capacitor. If it is not discharged before you grab hold of it, it will give you a nasty shock. There is a safety switch on the compressor held down by a flat spring. The points in them can burn with age so they usually come in a kit of parts that usually give trouble. So, if you're confident you can install those parts just follow the wiring diagram and go for it. The diagram is usually found in a pouch taped to the back of the fridge.

Installed 3n1 start kit - did not help. compressor shows good resistant between all windings, not grounded, but hard start kit did not start it either. But this video might help You to wire 3n1.

It's very simple to install a 3N1 Supco Hard Start Relay, Some refrigerators have a run capacitor located on compressor or mounted nearby. It will be important that you use the run capacitor in with the 3N1 Hard Start. Here is a Photo of the=> URCO810_3_N_1

The instructions come with the 3N1 Hard Start Relay. Can you please post the model number of your refrigerator here so I can look up a wiring diagram? Look around the fresh food section door frame for your model number. I do need to know so we can get the right run capacitor in the 3N1 hard start circuit, Thanks Sea Breeze

A relay starts the compressor with a higher voltage and then quickly kicks out
Thats what is happening with yours
Its best for a tech to replace The relay but you can do it
Take your model number to your Local Appliance parts store they will have a diagram
showing you how to install the relay. Its called a hard start relay
I use part no ERP410 POWER START RELAY, CAPACITOR AND OVERLOAD all in one.

I need to know a model number of the unit in question. The model number should be located on the rear of the unit and/or the numbers off of the compressor. You do understand that you will still need to have a service tech come and install the compressor as this is not something that you can do, you have to be a licensed HVAC service tech.

hey there, sorry to say but chances are that if you are hearing a buzzing that is your compressor trying to come on but is locked up. The first thing I would try would be to install a hard start kit. I am not sure how mechanically inclined you are but there is a capacitor for your compressor that is an oval shaped cylinder with two or three wires coming from it. There are two terminals on it and the hard start had two wires, put one wires on each terminal, doesn't matter which one goes where. click the following link to purchase a hard start kit

There is a good chance that the super boost may not work but for the money even with rush shipping it may be worth it, but again on fridges, our compressor is probably done. If yyou can give me the manufacturer and model number off the compressor itself (if unsure of the model, give all the numbers) I may be able to find it for you so you can purchase it without the service guys markup. He will hate that though, lol. Let me know.

When a compressor is has to start. 1. HAs it been off longer than five minutes. As a service tech when I run on to this problem I install a hard start kit and a time delay. The start kit helps the compressor to start under heavy load condtions. The timer helps the compressor to balance out before tryng to start. Have tech set at 5 minutes. I install hard start kits and time delays on all my change outs. Replace problem will go away. Thanks Rus

This is common, take your model number and go to the appliance parts store and order a ice chute dispenser repair kit.

Campbell hausfeld has all their manuals on line at www.chpower.com / you can enter the model # of the whole unit or just the # of the pump. Also you can enter just a partial number example wl650 for a list of models is that range. Use caution when installing gaskets for chpower oiless pumps. Some of their gaskets are very brittle. After installing parts, turn pump by hand to make sure all parts are in their proper place and that there is suction. Enjoy
