RUSTIN...RUSTIN...RUSTIN! I presume water is still in the Tub? Thought so...OK "IF" your Drain Filter, hose, and house plumbing are Clear...(Are They?) then it is your Drain Pump. Circuit Boards rarely go out and unless you are cutting wires, they don't fail either. A pump will, it either works...pumps OUT the water OR it doesn't. If it doesn't then the tub fills with water, STOPS, and goes on Strike! No it will not spin cause your machine would end up on the sidewalk thumping and clankin all the way! Change the Drain Pump. UN-PLUG DA MACHINE FIRST!

Duet washer , clean filter still get sud reading. Washes well without clothes. Wash with and without soap and did not put in clothes. The machine went throught the cycle with no problems. When you

do you get a lot of suds when you run it without soap and clothes ? if so put about a cup or 2 of vegetable oil into the washer and run a cycle . soap suds will adhere to the oil and it will help it to remove from washer . after you can run a clean cycle with bleach or white distilled vinegar.

Fills with water then does not rotate, also does not spin

Check for large items of clothes being tangled if the Bosch washing machine doesn't spin. The weight could not be evenly distributed in the drum and the spin cycle will have been disabled to prevent damage to the clothes..

Load the drum with large and small clothes together and run the entire washing cycle and spin cycle again.

Add more powder and run the entire washing and spin cycle again if you haven't found tangled large items, but the spin cycle still failed. This indicates the amount of cloths was too small.

Add 1 tablespoon of fabric softener to 1 pint of water and pour it into the main detergent dispenser if there's no tangling and the load was a normal size. The cause would have been excessive suds because of too much, or the wrong kind, of detergent. Use HE (High Efficiency) detergent in Bosch washing machines.

We have an Aquasmart top loader and our clothes, mainly dark items, are being covered by a scum after washing. We have put the machine through the clean cycle, but this has not made any difference.

I have found with my aquasmart that if you use the 'high efficiency' the water does not cover the clothes sufficiently which is why the soap residue (noticeable more on dark clothes) is visible. I don't use high efficiency. even on conventional sometimes I still have to check that the water level is high enough. Also **use only liquid, low sudsing detergent and do not put it on the clothes-use the dispenser only. As for my machine... Time for the repair man to check the sensing I think

In the permanent press cycle only the spin cycle isn't spinning enough. Clothes are extremely wet must run another spin to get out the water.

Thts right....the permanent press cycle my only spin at 600rpm because the clothes would be creased otherwise. Hence the PP cycle.
Some machines lock the PP cycle to low spin RPM. Some allow you to over ride this setting. Check your machine and have a play with the controls. Some PP clothing should even be drip dry to retain the premanent press in the garment. If you want PP then low spin is needed. fast spin will not be a PP cycle...

Smelly front loader washing machine. Clothes come out smelly too. How did I fix the problem???

You may have to do this 2 times and you will never find this in any manual. Use 1/4 cup "Powdered" Dishwashing soap and 1 cup of bleach in an empty tub cycle. Run a load of older dark clothes or non flammable rags FIRST after doing this the first time. If they come out with streaks run the cycle of 1/4 cup Powdered dishwashing soap and 1 cup bleach again. Same routine after 2nd cleaning cycle... dark clothes check for anything out of the ordinary. You should not have to do it a 3rd time unless your machine is really gunked up. Hopefully your using HE type soaps in your front loader. Non HE laundry soaps will cause the smelly machine also.

Thanks for using FixYa.

The water runs during the spin cycle. The clothes

Does the water run through the ENTIRE spin cycle? There is a period where the water will run during the spin; This is called, the "Final Rinse". But it usually only runs for about 10 seconds then stops.

Machine drys fine on timed cycles but shuts off before clothes are dry on automatic cycle.

First try cleaning the moisture sensors with rubbing alcohol, these are two silver colored strips located inside the drier just below the lint cleanout
