Whirlpool ET20DKXSN00. The light switch/button stopped working. Not the bulbs. For a while if I pressed and released the button after I opened the door the light would come on. The button smoothly goes in and out. Not stuck or gunked up. Not having much luck finding anything about this fridge. Must be quite old. Working like a champ otherwise, just would like to have a light again.

short in the control panel. or the ground in the control panel is loose.

trying to open door?? does it feel as if top wants to open ad bottom of door is being stuck shut? or mabye a package of frozen food has shifted of a shelf and is holding the door shut, if so brute force will solve that one.if it feels like held at bottom sounds as if youmight have a clogged defrost drain tube.drain water backing up onto freezer plor and holding door shut. even then forcing door open is only way then removing back panel of freezer will give you acess to drain trough, melt away the ice with a hair dryer, youll find a drain hole under there somwhere,pouring boiling water down the drain will clear it pretty quickly( i use a steam machine purchased from the infomercials works awesome, after you clear it and all water drain down tube wrap a piece of solid copper wirearound the heater( black calrod heater right above the drain trough) and stick it in the whole maybe an inch or so. now everythime the heater comes on to defrost it will prevent the hole from freezing over.

your  problem on this is the main control in the compressor compartment. unplug your refrig then remove this control unplug all connectors and reconnect. this will probably get you working temporarily In almost every case I've seen we ended up replacing the control board. thx peyton

I have a whirlpool duet gas dryer model ggw9200lw1. when i press the start button it clicks once but wont run.
First, check the door switch. Push and release it by hand and you should hear a click. If no sound, replace the door switch with this part.
If the switch is ok, press the cancel button on the machine. Then do this. press and hold the start button for 2 seconds then release wait 2 seconds and press and hold again for 2 seconds continue this pattern until the dryer goes into test mode. You will see all the lights on the control light up. press each button on the control one at a time 3 times each. (Do not press the cancel button) until the dryer begins to run. When the dryer starts to run then press the cancel button. Then your machine should function properly.

I have an intermatic switch. Just put a new lightbulb in and when I try to turn the light on, I hear a repeated clicking as (presumably) the power is switched on and off. Have tried replacing battery and...
1) If timer worked before and suddenly stopped working, then reset timer.

2) If this is new installation, timer might be wired incorrectly or timer is defective.

You posted under ST01C timer.
If you have different timer, instructions below will not apply.
To reset ST01C timer, hold down on-off button and press reset with paper clip.
Release reset button.
Keep holding on-off button until INIT displays.
Release on-off button and 12:00 will display.
Reprogram timer

I had the same issue yesterday with my remotes which are model 850CB. I fixed it by following these steps on Chamberlain's help site:
1. Press & release the "learn" button on the motor unit. 2. Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the remote. 3. Release the remote button when the light bulb on the motor blinks. It has learned the code.

That worked for me. Not sure why it "lost" the code in the first place. By the way, I only had to do this for one remote, the other started working after the first was re-learned.

Security light will not work
You must have a three function wall switch. This means in addition to a button that opens and closes the door there are two other buttons on the same wall switch. One is marked LIGHT and the other is marked LOCK.

To have your lights come on automatically when you walk into an open garage you must START with the lights ON. To turn the feature on, turn the lights on manually with the wall switch, then press and hold the LIGHT button for about 10 seconds until the motor unit light bulbs flash. Now, if the light bulbs are on, manually turn them out and then walk out through the open door. The light bulbs should come on.

To disable this feature, start with the light bulbs OFF and everything else is the same.

Whirlpool 110 electric dryer will not keep running
When you press the start button you complete a circuit bringing the juice into your dryer to run the motor the igniter or heating elements and what ever else goes whee when your dryer is drying. So if you press the button to complete the circuit then when you let go of the button it would stand to reason that it break that flow and shut it all down. However in a dryer there is something of a centrifugal switch that kicks in and keeps that circuit open and flowing with juice once the drum begins to turn and you let go of the button. That's why in a normal situation if you don't hold the button down long enough the dryer will cut right back off or if you open the door to the dryer to throw something in and close it before it quits turning it will stay running. Sounds like you could add this centrifugal switch to the list of possible culprits in this mystery. O7OUT
