I have a lg optimus t mobile phone that my stepdad gave me because my screen is cracked. He upgrades to new phones anywhere from once to three times a month with new service providers. He does not recall his old phone numbers or any codes. My phone that is cracked is a concord t mobile phone, but my provider is walmart family mobile. Now I tried to put my sim card in his phone and have maxed out the sim lock code tries and now it is asking me for the puk code. Can I even get this phone to work with my sim card? Please help

Puk code is needed when you have entered the pin code wrong 3 times.

If you have a phone lock code on it and you can't remember to code try the defaults 0000 1234 12345 00000 etc. if you can't unlock it contact your dealer with proof or pruchase or contact a samsung service center, you can get those details from www.samsung.com you will most likely have to send the phone to be unlocked.

you can try entering these two codes without a sim card in the phone. write them where you would write 911 phone should restart. then insert the sim card and try turning the phone on.

*2767*3855# = Full Reset
*2767*2878# = Custom Reset

If these don't help then contact samsung for unlock service you will most likely have to send the phone to a service center.
