How change oil on my Toro GTS 6.o HP lawnmower

I can't find the manual and can't find the oil pan and ''They'' say I need to change the oil before starting it the first time in Spring. Also, how much oil does it need. I do have the right kind of oil, I know that much anyway.

I found the manual! In case anyone else has this same question, you have to turn the mower over on its left side and drain the oil out the same hole where you put it in. You're supposed to be sure the gas tank is empty, first.

The drain plug should be under the blade plate, remove the plate to expose the drain plug, should have a quarter inch square drive or a half inch square drive, undo it to drain the oil.
Should take around .5 of a litre

Why does my Toro GTS 6 hp lawnmower start then die?

Have you cleaned out the fuel jet ? if you have a fuel bowl on the bottom of your carb take it off and clean it out anbd look at the bolt that lolds the bowl on I could have little holes in it. This is the fuel jet and will not run if it is plugged.

Toro GTS 6.5 HP doesn't run well in grass. Any ideas?

Has the fuel filter been replaced lately? Also you can look to see if the new spark plugs are getting fouled out still. Sometimes just replacing the spark plugs wont fix the problem.
