Attempted to take face off but unable even after it appears that all the nuts are off

To clear the paper jams always follow the instructions from the manufacturer, here is the support page from Brother website.
Also, sometimes when I get paper torn inside, I use a pair of long-nose pliers to remove it, but be careful not to damage any parts inside the printer.
If the printer is jamming constantly then that means you have a hardware issue in there. Look carefully where is usually jamming and see if you have a clip that stops the paper or a roller that's not pulling the paper and try to fix it or replace the faulty part.
