I fit a new keb f5 inverter which parameter set to run motor

There are over 1500 parameters in the inverter. These have been setup by the manufacture of the machine so that the machine functions the way it was intended to in a safe trouble free manner.

Before one defaults the inverter you should always use the COMBIVIS software to obtain a complete upload of all the parameter values. This way you can always get back to the settings before the inverter was set to default.

Also with the COMBIVIS software you can access all the parameters in the inverter. With the software the Fr parameters are where you would find how to reset the inverter to default values.

If you are connected to the inverter with COMBIVIS, go to parameter FR.01 and enter a value of -4. This will set all parameters back to factory default.

You may be having an issue with the inverters software verison. As long as the inverters are the same part number, you should be able to download the parameters without any issue. There may be some unknown parameters but you should be able to hit ignore and keep on downloading.

Via Combivis, write a value of -4 to Fr.01. This will set all parameters back to the factory default values.

Then download your backup parameter file.

The CP mode parameters are a small list of parameters that are mapped from the application parameters. Not knowing what you are trying to do with the inverter, it is very difficult to tell you what needs to be programmed.

90% of the machines that us the KEB inverters use the application parameters to gain the full functionality of the inverter.

The machine manufacture whom built the machine that the inverter is installed in should be able to provide you with parameter settings.

By default the F5-C inverter uses an analog signal for speed command.

Review the manual that was provided with the inverter for connection of signals.

If this inverter does not have default settings, you will need to determine how it is programmed.

What F5 inverter are you asking about? There are many different control stages and each has different default parameter settings.

It is strongly suggested to contact the OEM of the machine that this inverter is being used on to obtain the actual parameter settings that are required.
