Upgrade asus u46e

First of all you just can't swap the internal wireless card. You have to make sure it is compatible with your laptop. Your best bet is to buy a usb wireless adapter that has blue tooth capabilities.

I have to troubleshoot to turn on my wireless capability whenever i want to use the internet but can you tell me how to on it without me having to troubleshoot whenever i on my laptop.

Sounds like an external PCMCIA wireless card issue. If so, maybe the Buffalo wireless software? DLink seems to have those issues. Different card?

To whom can help, The wireless is not working on my ASUS Eee PC 1000HA. It's working on every other laptop in my house so, it is turned on, it's just not working on my Eee PC 1000HA. Thank you, Dr.M.Seus

Right click the wireless icon in the lower right hand corner by your clock and click view available wireless networks. Then select configure advanced settings. Click on the wireless networks tab.
In the lower part of the screen select your wireless network and remove it. Reboot the laptop
Once back on, view available wireless networks again, double click yours and join it again. It may ask you for your password so make sure you have that handy.

How can I turn on the wireless capability on my Asus G60VX laptop? the switch on the front left is on and still nothing. trouble shooting says wireless capability is turned off. it was working fine untill...

I can figure out that your laptop runs Windows Vista. Go to Control panel, then Network and Sharing centre and then go to Manage Network Connections and see if the Wireless Network Connections icon is disabled, make sure it is enabled and not connected. Try disabling and enabling it again. If still no go, try to manually turn off the wireless switch and turn it back ON. Check the light status (if any), confirm the error message too. If still, it seems not to be working, then the internal switching might have gone bad. You need to get the laptop serviced.

Arvind
