Remove write protection from Sandisk pen drive with write protection removal software. Double-click on the WriteProtect value in the right-hand pane of Regedit.exe. Change the Value data from 1 to 0 and click OK to save the change. Close Regedit and restart your computer.
I think the sandisk cruzer flash drive does not have a write protect switch. Please give more details about the product, model number etc. It could be possible that the "SanDisk SecureAccess software" provided with the flash drive could be protecting your drive. Hi, slide up the Write protection switch which is white in color for the Memory Card Adapter to remove Write protection and Slide down to enable write protection of the Memory Card.
