Not sure if this will work for you but I had a lawnmower with too much compression and my mechanic said i had put the wrong spark plug in which was too long and that caused too much pressure when trying to start I almost ruined the engine. I put the proper plug in and seems to work ok now.

I am pretty sure this machine ran a .325 pitch chain, so the file size is 3/16, if it is running 3/8 low profile chain ( 91 ) it will be a 5/32 file, the pitch should be marked on the bar .

I my self mix 40 to 1. Here is the manual look on page 9 at the bottom.

The gas/oil mix is at a ratio of 40 parts gasoline to one part oil. Please rate my solution. Thanks!

Most likely a clogged fuel line, or clogged fuel filter.

sound like to m e that your gas cap is bad if its not venting it will do that

I have a poulan pro 295. Can't get it to fire. I've replaced the plug, and ignition coil. cleaned the entire chainsaw.

I suspect the carburetor is full of remnants of the same fluids you found in the tank. If it was my saw I'd take it to the local Stihl dealer for an estimate to repair. I'd expect to pay $40 - 80 for a tune up and repair depending on how many fuel hoses must be replaced. HTH
