Hi martymeowmy name is Mike Houston of DISH Network and after reading over your post thereare some things that can be done. Please press the buttons of MENU-6-9 and youwill be on the Closed Caption screen and press the tab that says Captionson/off and make sure the ON tab is checked.
Do you have cable or satellite and if satellite what receiver type and TV model?
