The first thing you need to check is the weight on the hose under your sink. if it is set too high or to low it doesnt allow the proper weight to pull the hose back into position. also check to see if the hose is twisted under your sink also. I hope these answers will help you out.

There is no weight on the Grohe faucet. And, my faucet is not twisted under the sink as it has loads of space.

Grohe LadyLux kitchen pullout sprayer hose has spring surrounding the hose under the sink and is not retracting properly

there may be an issue with the hose or the weight that is attached to the hose under the sink. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the weight: There should be a weight attached to the hose under the sink. This weight is designed to help the hose retract back into the faucet. If the weight is loose or not in the correct position, it can affect the retracting ability of the hose. Make sure the weight is securely attached to the hose and is in the correct position.
  2. Check the hose for obstructions: The hose may not be retracting properly due to an obstruction. Turn off the water supply to the faucet and disconnect the hose from the faucet. Carefully inspect the hose for any kinks or blockages. If you find any obstructions, gently straighten out the hose and remove the blockage.
  3. Check for damage to the hose: The hose may not be retracting properly due to damage. Check the hose for any visible signs of wear and tear, such as cracks or tears. If the hose is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  4. Lubricate the hose: Over time, the hose can become dry and lose its flexibility. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the hose to help it move more freely.

My Grohe kitchen pull out faucet will not retract

Normally, there is a weight on the hose (under your sink) that retracts the faucet line. Look under your sink and make sure that the weight is still attached and that there is nothing interfering with the hose moving.

Check the weight and see if it has screws in it to move in on the hose line the distance it lacks retracting.

Most of them can be adjusted to proper retracting mode. It may have a couple of screws in it.

Take a drinking straw, crush one end and push it down the retracted neck, gently twist and pull and hopefully it will stick to the straw. If you need something stiffer use a disposal chop stick and place it in the end and try that. I carry thousands of dollars or tools and equipment on my trucks but sometimes its still best to improvise. Good Luck!

The pull out faucet is loose, wobbly, won't stay attached.

Make sure that there is a weighted ball connected about halfway down the retracting hose. If not you need to go to a supply house and purchase one and its a simple install. However if there is one attached you can loosen the 2 screws and slide it up closer to faucett but not so far that you can't pull out the sprayer as far as you need. Also make sure nothing is obstructing it under the sink. bottles, cleaners, etc.
