Hello Ryan,
It means your device went thru a self check in an effort maintain optimum copy quality. Your device could not get Magenta (pink/red) to even get close to the target values for that color. The most likely cause (and we hope so) is the Magenta development unit is toast. Replace it. But of course there are a myriad of other fun causes. As a sidebar, you might want to consider replacing yellow and cyan at the same time as they tend to croak at pretty much the same time. You have a quite reliable device as a rule. It's worth the cost. Take care. Let fixya know I helped ya please. SPINAL
Check that the cableunitduplexreversalis connected. Replace thePSUif nopower is suppliedto the devices. Replace thecontrolfront and back ofthe unit ofinversion.
Hello, the only way I can help you is to give you a service manual. The service manual is for 3800C but it`s the same machine. You can download the manual by clicking HERE.
Remove the data cable from the back or size of the printer. Turn the printer on and let it cycle. Then plug back in the data cable. It should show a green light by the cable if you are reconnected.
It very easy...:) if you have a drum in hand. Open the front cover. Lift one big green handle. Untainted 2 big black screws and open the drum cover. There you will see four groups of drum+development unit. Pull out the needed drum and pull in the new one. Then close all covers and that's all pifonski
