*#7370# was no problem but I was asked to End all active calls and connections first..Im not sure what that means or how to go about it..I have switched WIFI off but other than that I'm stuck. No, adding minutes is not necessary in order to make a call. Your phone's connection seems to be acting up, perhaps. To make sure you're connected to the correct network, try rebooting your phone and checking your network settings. You may need to ask your service provider for assistance if it doesn't work.
Don't worry if you're having difficulties connecting; it's not the end of the world! Just keep in mind that you can always talk to yourself if you can't connect.

Error Code 0xC004E003 is generally associated to Windows, more specifically Vista, Activation problems. A number of issues could be causing this error, but the most likely culprit is:

1. If your PC is not currently connected to the Internet, The activation process can't continue since the activation server can't "talk" to your computer and thus cannot complete activation. Verify that you are connected to the Internet and retry.
2. A corrupt Windows Install, or Pirated copy of the OS might also be to blame. Make sure your copy is GENUINE, and that you have typed in the PRODUCT KEY correctly (if asked to)

Alternatively you can choose to activate by TELEPHONE, which means you will have to CALL the 800 number and input the string of alphanumerics listed when this option is chosen (during the activation process, when activating by phone) to continue the activation process.

You have to have minimum of a GPRS connection if you want to access the internet from the phone. Or you should have a WiFi connection available. This is what the error msg means.

To do that please call up the helpline of your service provider and ask them to activate GPRS on your number and also for the GPRS settings for your phone model.

Your product key is your activation.If you have a valid copy of Windows just click on it where it asks you to validate.It will ask if you want to activate over the internet or by phone.If you have an internet connection it will check the key that you typed in while installing Windows.If it checks out it will say Windows has been activated and you will be good to go.If you dont have an internet connection then you can call the number that comes up on the screen.Make sure you have your Product Key handy.The person you speak to will ask you for it.

i haven't used PS online before but i still know something is wrong with you connection. If you have a wireless rowder than make sure that every thing is plugged in and that the online and PC/activity lights are on. If you are not using a rowder than that any usb's are plugged in or call you internet provider and if they say anything is wrong ask how to fix the problem.

When you try to activate vista, Microsoft checks if the 25 character code from the vista cd case was submitted before by someone.
If you bought the windows so it is genuine then obviously noone has submitted the key before, so they accept it, and send back the confirmation ID. So that is where you get it from.

Since you do not have internet, you probably have to do the phone way of activation. So when windows prompts you for activation choose

"Use the automated phone system to activate"

This gets you the phone number related to your area. Select your nearest location and click next.

Click continue for UAC support.

Then you get the local phone number and a set of numbers generated by windows which you will need during the phone call.

Call the activation phone number that it gave you, it will be a machine voice on the phone asking you to repeat the numbers that windows gave you or type them into your phone via the buttons. Do one of the two.

The automated service then gives you the confirmation ID. Make sure you have paper and pen ready, write the numbers down! (should the activation be NOT successfull, do not hang up, you will be transferred to an operator).

If it worked, and the automated service gave you a confirmatino ID, then type the confirmation ID into your vista activation screen, where it asks for it.

Then you get the activation was successfull window and you are done!!:)

If you are unsure about the whole process, then just get so far to call the number, and fail at the activation, stay on the line and wait for the operator, they will help you with it, just explain the situation.

Ok two seperate issues:

1) Your Device battery is dying or you are using Voice calls too much,

2) If this is a work device then ask your IT administrator to activate you on a 'Blackberry Enterprise server', You will need an account. If this is not a work device and you are using it as end user then you don't need to be on "Blackberry Enterprise server".

Check that your Network signal is strong and you have "GPRS" or "3G" showing at the top right hand corner?

This is generic hardware problem called Network Fault. It might be due uncertain setting of antena or typical circuitry problem. If you are not skilled technician then it is not advisable to do anything with it. Simply go to skilled technician arround you and get service from him. Yes he will charge you little for that. You may ask FIXYA for servicemen near you. Is it solving your confusion then do vote....

It is phone's generic hardware problem. Only skilled technician can do repair. If u are not skilled you are advised to consult repairmen by asking Fixya...Your problem solver....
