Hot water will not stop flowing. Hot water started flowing at the usual time in the new washing cycle, and did not stop. Although hot water was flowing constantly machine was draining, and not overflowing. Turning machine to "Off" state does not stop water flow. We turned hot water at the source, put machine into spin cycle, drained all water and opened door.
SOURCE: Door locked, wont spin or drain.
humming noise suggests a foreign object in the pump. crack open filter and drain water into a shallow tray. repeat till empty. remove filter completely and clean it. check if something stuck in pump impellor. this should be visible by looking into the filter hole
SOURCE: bosch washing machine won't drain and the door won't open.
Sounds like you have a blocked pump.To empty the machine manually lower the drain hose into a bowl or bucket.Once emptied the door should open.On most modern machines there will be a filter behind the kick plate at bottom front of machine, Check this for any foreign objects then try a spin before putting on again. If problem persists come for further options.

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

Hello and welcome to fixya.
The "E13" error code on the WFMC series Bosch washer`s refer to a drainage problem as you may or may not already know. ( or in Bosch terms "pump time exceeded" )
What you may have is either a clogged pump, improper detergent being used, ( must use "HE"/lo-sudsing detergent ) hence suds not allowing a proper drain cycle, or wires loose at the pump...the later being the least likely.
You haven`t mentioned if you`ve checked the pump...just hoses as you did mention.
Anyway, here`s the most likely way to remedy a E13 code.
**Unplug the washer from the wall or turn off the breaker before attempting any repairs**
Ultimately you may have a faulty drain pump, but I would certainly start by performing the things I listed first.
Let me know if you require further assistance and if not and this indeed solves your problem, please rate the solution I provided accordingly.
Thank you for coming to "fixya" and good luck.
