Bosch Maxx (ref WFL 2450). stopped during wash and switch on

My 9 year old washing machine stopped 10 minutes into a wash (2 bath mats and a pair of runners). No lights on panel and I still have water in the drum after removing washing (3 days now). I have replaced the  fuse in the plug and checked the socket to rule out any fault.. Not sure if machine has fulfilled it's working life or if it's still worth repairing. The machine was not heavily used. Once a month on average. Would deeply appreciate your help. Many thanks

Remove the front lower panel, screws underneath. Drain off water. Be prepared for more water. Check filter for clogging. Sometimes when the load is unbalanced & the machine cannot adjust the load it stops. To avoid this make sure your wash is mixed with big and small clothes.
If this does not work remove the rear panel & check belt, should have half inch ‘give’. Still not good, remove belt, unscrew 2 bolts that hold the motor, unplug the motor connector, lever the motor back with a screwdriver. Check the motor brushes, if it is any shorter than 5mm replace brushes.

Stuck filter in a Bosch Maxx WFL 2450

You have to get the filter out by any means possible, what I would suggest is that if there is any part of the filter left to get a grip of, then use a strong pair of pliers or grips, and grasp what is left of the filter cover, and try and twist and pull at the same time.
Or try and lever it out with a screwdriver or similar. one way or another, it nshould come out
If all else fails, then drill a hole in the center of cover
and leverit out that way.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
