Lg 42 inch projection tv has green light and orange light

Lamp light blinking yellow means lamp door not installed.
Lamp light solid red and TV shut off is lamp error (did not light.)

ON THE BALLAST SENSOR CONNECTOR AT THE ADaPTER CHECK VOLTAGES BROWN WIRE 0.1V,ORANGE-5V,YELLOW-3V, GREEN-5V. RED-GROuND. GR. CONNECTION IS OPEN. NEED TO JUMP IT FROM THE WIRE TO THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF THE FILTER CAP ON THE BALLAST, if this doesn't do it may need a new lamp.........good success, meder's tv service

I have a wd-57731 The lamp light blinked orange. i replaced the lamp turned the tv on and the timer blinks green for one minute and then the lamp light blinks orange again. It won't turn on. Can you suggest anything?

Ur Lamp reqiure changing.The LED light in front blinking said lamp?Must change the lamp.

LAMP pull it out and see if it looks busted on the inside.

There should be a LAMP light on the front..is this the light that is on? If so, you need a Lamp. If not, you probably still need a Lamp!

the orange lamp is suposed to be on when the set is off but there is still power to the set
red will be on when in standby
green when set is on and working

Your Tv requires the lamp hours to be re-set. You will need to acess the Service mode settings via a service remote from your authorised LG service agent.

You need to replace your lamp. That indicator is telling you the lamp needs to be replaced.
