Van is for sale. While on consignment lot, battery died and killed alternator. Everything is ok except the radio lights are on but doesn't turn on/off or play. Hubby is out of town don't want to lose sale but don't gave time or money to track down an electric problem. Fuses tested ok. Lot guy put cd in wont play wont come out. Ideas of where the body control module is? And does it control the radio?

Sounds like starter selanoid, but first make sure battery connections are clean and tight, if sure they are then turn on headlights and try to start if still clicks and lights dim its starter.
SOURCE: battery light came on then lights went out and van died minivan
your alternator most likely went bad and you were just driving on battery power with out the alternator recharging back the battery when your voltage drops to around 7.5 volts then the van will die please dont try to drive home with out fixing alternator.
SOURCE: where is the body control module located on a 1997 town & country
It is located on the back side of the underdash fuse box (junction block). You remove the lower steering column cover and knee blocker reinforcement. Then remove two plugs from the bottom of the BCM.
Remove the bolts holding the junction block to dash panel mounting bracket. Remove the junction block from the bracket. Remove screws holding the BCM to the junction block. Slide the BCM downward to disengage guide studs on jb from channels on BCM mounting bracket
