LG RU-42PX11 42 plasma TV has a 2" black bar running vertically on the right hand side of the screen. Picture is fine sound is fine. You can watch video and TV. The black bar does not move about 1" from the right side of display then 2" of black running vertically on screen. The rest of the screen is fine so from right side of display there is 1” of good video to the black bar 2” of bar then good video. If anyone knows about this black bar problem what might cause it what to do fix it. Please let me know. Thanks
It seems to be a bad connection somewhere but I disconnected the ribbon cable and got a verticle line of snow instead of a blank line. the line is about 34 mm wide and starts 285 mm from the left edge starts on the Blue and goes to the Red pixels. so if they are 1mm wide that would be 34 bands of color.
I would sure like to figure out the solution to this one or I got a TV I need to throw away cause the o'lady is gonna bust my balls if I can't fix this!
The screen does not work properly .Ribbon wire fails.

My RU-23LZ has the same problem. Usually after the set has been on for a while. A black bar appears on the right hand side. The rest of the picture looks fine....very frustrating
