I've recently changed my sewer tank. I know one local plumber he is best in his work and cheap. You can contact, him http://www.ps2i.biz/plumbing-services
most of the time when the washer empties and other water devices in the home dispense and the sewer overflows there is an issue with the sewer..if your washer is equipped with a clean out or collecter if there is a problem with that water would be still in the washer b/c it cannot drain...call a plumber
Yes! If the system you are talking about has a tank behind the toilet, that tank only pumps out for that bathroom group. It pumps out with a 2" line into the existing gravity system. Your other batrooms are on that gravity system so you would be fine to use them. The only way there would be a problem is if the main sewer line out of the house is backed up. But you would be having problems if that were so (possibly the washing machine connection in the basement would be overflowing. Sound like the pump float in the small tank behind the toilet is hung up on somthing not allowing it to shut off. No need to get a plumber for that. Just remove the top of the small box and see why the float off of the pump is not shutting off. If has been installed for awhile (a few years) possibly the float contact could be gone and in that case a plumber would be the best bet to get a part needed. But save some $ and see if it is hung up on somthing (dried toilet paper) and clean it off and see if the pump stops when plugged in. If so you just fixed it yourself. If not then call the plumber. I'm a licensed plumber so I have a bit of background here.
