Sterilizer Manufacturer:
Pelton & Crane
Model of Sterilizer:Problem Title:
DELTA 8 10 Error P2: Sterilizer Pressure reaches 241 Kpa before 135'C temperature
Problem Description:
DELTA 8 10 Error P2: Sterilizer Pressure reaches 241 Kpa before 135'C temperature
Reasons
1. DELTA 8 10 Error P2: Sterilizer Pressure reaches 241 Kpa before 135'C temperature
First, check the sterilizer can return the air/steam back from chamber to reservoir or not between 90C to 110C. It is very important to make sure all air will be purged out of the chamber. Only pure steam, the temperature can match pressure. If not return, check the bellow solenoid or the Power PCB board
2. If the air purging works well between 90'C - 110'C, then check the RTC (steam) sensor to make sure it is properly connected to the Power PCB board
If you are not using purified or distilled water, most likely the heating element or sensor has become encrusted with lime or calcium and gives a false reading which will not allow the heating element to engage. (safety stuff you know) All you could try is a fill with a limeaway solution of 20%, cycle, drain and refill with distilled water, or disassemble and clean the components.
Message is displayed and sterilization does not start if the autoclave has not reached sterilization temp. after heating for 50 mins. while in wrapped or unwrapped programs (80 mins in the Glassware program).
1) Clogged air jet, clean air jet.
2) no pwer to the heating elements.
3) Low line voltage delaying heat up. Not enough power to supply unit.
Autoclaves are used to sterilize equipment like those used in surgery or in a microbiology lab. They are also sometimes seen in tattoo parlors for sterilizing the needles.
It may seem obvious, but have you contacted the eBay seller? I've just been talking to a seller about a Sun 18L-II that I want to buy, and he's been helpful about explaining the guarantee.
Did you ever get it fixed? My autoclave is doing the same thing...
