No picture I have a 55inch LG LED 3D smart tv. The tv switched off suddenly but the red light at the bottom right flashes when tv is turned on but there is no picture.

Replace the jack wires going to the LED strips. Or look for the one bad jack wire going to the LED's and fix it. Use a volt meter on ohms to find the bad wire.
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Two things, first check if the power supply of the tv is in good order, second, has to be your inverter, this is the circuit of the backlight. Thank,s good Luck.
The T-Con board controls the picture. This board has two flat ribbon cables that connect to the bottom of the screen. You can get a replacement and fix it yourself from here.
