t sounds like the CD function may be disabled or the CD port may not be connected properly to the radio unit. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check the connections: Make sure the Bluetooth adapter is securely connected to the CD port on the rear of the OEM radio. Check for any loose wires or connections, and ensure that the adapter is compatible with your radio.
Check the fuse: There may be a fuse for the CD player that needs to be replaced. Check your owner's manual to locate the fuse box and CD player fuse, and replace it if necessary.
Reset the radio: Try resetting the radio by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. This can sometimes help to clear any errors or issues with the radio's settings.
Try a different CD: If you have a CD available, try inserting it into the CD player to see if it works. If the CD player still doesn't work, then there may be an issue with the CD player itself.
If none of these steps work, then it may be best to take your car to a professional to have the radio unit inspected and repaired.
