Yes it is, however it is not usually economical since most of the cost of a TV is in the screen. Just the part alone is anywhere from $250 to $500 for a screen depending on brand/model this does not even include labor. you can usually buy one cheaper than it cost to repair one if screen is broken.
Cracked plasma screens cannot be repaired. Maybe replaced.

In general, most tablets are not cost effective to repair. You might have several options. In the case of a cracked screen, if you purchased a product plan, it may cover a cracked screen and the place where you bought it may replace it. I other option is to find a local repair shop and haggle out a deal. Find out what the part would cost, amazon search, then haggle on labor, shouldn't take more than an hour. If the tablet cost $250 or less, right it off and buy another. Also, spend the extra money and get a cover for it with reinforced corners. It has saved my tablet 4 times so far.

It cost around $150 and above, depends on how crack it is and what model of magellan you're using.
I am sorry to hear about your Insignia® Pilot MP3 player's cracked screen. Unfortunately cracked screens are considered to be physical damage and are not covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty nor by any Best Buy™ performance service plan or product replacement plans.
The MP3 player may still be serviceable but you would have to pay for the cost of repair. Your local Best Buy store can help you by sending the unit out for an estimate. However, my experience with these kinds of repairs is that they can often come close or exceed the cost of a comparable replacement item. It may make more economic sense to simply purchase a new MP3 player.
