Fully charged, but doesn't work. Shows full charged on both charger and throttle, but when throttle is pressed the light goes to low and clicks.

I bought this cart around 2010 and it had been working fine. Then, I stopped using it for a few months and left it sitting there in a garage, not charging. Now, when I try to use it, it doesn't work. The charger says it is fully charged, and when I unplug it and turn on the cart, the switch lights a steady red as it always did, and the throttle battery indicator shows a full battery. But, when I press the throttle down quickly all the way, it just makes a clicking noise. Slowly throttling makes the wheels turn slowly and the throttle indicator shows a low battery. Opened it up and saw everything was connected properly. May anybody please help me?

Why doesn't the power light indicate whether fully charged or low?

On the charger, some have a single light that goes from red charging to green full. you can turn on the key and look at the the meter if it is full.

No flashing LEDs. Joystick and charger indicate full charge.

Time to replace battery - not taking a charge properly.

Hello

Check the following:

* Circuit breaker on main control box is tripped
* Fuse blown (check fuse in main control box assembly).
* Incorrect polarity at battery terminals
* Dead batteries.
* Charging cable is still connected to charging receptacle
* One of the cable connections at the main control box is loose.
* Control connection cable disconnected
* Broken key switch
* Throttle stuck fully open
* Throttle control potentiometer broken.
* Speed potentiometer broken
* Battery voltage too low.
* Faulty charging cable.
* Charger not working.
* Charging circuitry in main control box assembly not working

If these check OK, the problem is likely to in the control connection cable or upper control box Verify that the upper control box is getting 24V. (Blue wire on red connector.)

* If the upper control box is not getting 24V, replace control connection cable

* If the upper control box is getting 24V, check key switch operation and verify wiring in the upper control box. Trace voltage from keyswitch on to find where the problem occurs. (Replace upper control box if necessary.)

* Charge batteries with a 12V charger or replace if necessary.

* Ohm test the charging cable - replace if necessary.

* Test scooter with a different charger, if new charger works, replace charger.

* Check wiring in main control box assembly - replace in line relay if necessary
* If batteries, charger, and all wiring is good, replace controller PCB. (Note the model number for the PCB, for example 1208-2330.)

Janice check your charger it could not be charging the batteries. Now always charge your batteries overnight while you sleep When you get up lights on the charger should be red and green if they are red and yellow then the charger hasn't fully charged the batteries and overnight should be more than enough time to charge fully. This could indicate a bad battery remember new doesn't always mean good. Like they say always charge before use and this goes for new batteries too you need to charge new batteries nightly for 10-15 days before they start operating at 100%. If when you plug in the charger before bed and the lights are red and green then there is a problem with the charger or the batteries or the charger circuit Hope this helps you

My Acer Aspire One D255 will not turn on. Light shows blue then immediately goes off. Won't boot on or anything.

Make sure that you have a charge. Try plugging it in and turning it on. If it still doesn't work then you might have a low battery, bad charger, or there could be a problem with the power supply. A bad charger and or a bad power supply would require replacements. You can probably find the charger at best buy or newegg.com. The power supply could probably be found at newegg.com. You might try taking it to a local electronics store and see if they have a different charger they can test it with, that way you would know for sure it isn't the charger.

On an E 100 Razor scooter, the battery charger shows charged

We had the same problem that I found to have a very simple fix. It seems all that needed to be done was hold in the reset button a few seconds while the battery charger was plugged in and the light on the charger turned to red and the battery charged again. Seems like too easy of a fix but it worked for my kids scooter.
