After plugging in the pedal, my Williams Overture digital piano suddenly won't play.

It sounds like you are experiencing some issues with your Williams Overture digital piano after plugging in the pedal. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Make sure that the pedal is properly plugged in. Check the connection between the pedal and the piano to ensure that it is secure.
  2. Check the pedal itself to make sure it is not damaged or malfunctioning. If the pedal appears to be damaged or is not working properly, you may need to replace it.
  3. Make sure that the piano is receiving power. Check the power cord to ensure that it is plugged in and functioning properly.
  4. If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may want to try contacting Williams or a professional piano technician for further assistance.
I hope these steps help! Let me know if you have any questions or if you need further assistance.

I have a Technics PR-305 Digital Piano in which I play on. I took apart the Digital piano to get to the rubber contact to clean them. later on I went to turn on the piano and it didn`t work.

Attempted to clean? Not a good idea obviously...Take it apart like you did before and look at the wiring and imagine that you can divine the thing to reveal some logical explanation. If you used a contact cleaner or spray to clean, that could be death to that piano my friend.

Why does my technics Digital piano my ears throb?

Experiencing discomfort or pain in your ears while playing your Technics digital piano is not a normal occurrence and could be a sign of an issue that needs attention. There are a few potential reasons for this phenomenon:
  1. Frequency Range: It's possible that certain frequencies produced by the piano are resonating with the natural frequencies of your ears or the surrounding environment, causing discomfort. This could explain why you feel it more in specific ranges of the keyboard.
  2. Acoustic Properties: The sound produced by the piano might be reflecting off nearby surfaces or causing standing waves in the room, which can create resonances that affect your ears.
  3. Volume Level: If the piano's volume is too high, it could lead to discomfort or pain in your ears. Even if the volume seems moderate, it's possible that specific frequencies or overtones are causing issues.
  4. Headphones: The fact that you don't experience this issue when using headphones suggests that the problem might be related to the piano's built-in speakers or its interaction with the acoustics of your environment.
  5. Electronic Components: There could be a malfunction or interference in the piano's electronic components that is affecting the sound output in a way that causes discomfort.
To address this issue:
  1. Volume Control: Try lowering the volume of the piano and see if the discomfort lessens. Gradually increase the volume until you find a level that doesn't cause discomfort.
  2. Room Acoustics: Experiment with placing the piano in different locations within the room to see if it affects the sensation you're experiencing. You could also try using soft materials like curtains, rugs, or acoustic panels to dampen reflections and standing waves.
  3. Equalization: If your piano has an equalizer or tone control settings, try adjusting them to see if it reduces the discomfort.
  4. Professional Inspection: If the issue persists, consider having the piano inspected by a technician to check for any electronic or acoustic anomalies.
  5. Expert Advice: If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be best to consult with an audiologist or a professional musician who has experience with piano-related sound sensitivities. They might be able to provide more personalized advice and recommendations.
Your health and well-being are important, so it's essential to address any discomfort or pain you're experiencing while playing your digital piano.

I cannot take it apart to pack it for traveling.

I've been trying to find an answer to this, I want to take mine apart. I just chatted with fisher price customer service, they said "once the piano snaps into place it can not be removed. It's a one time assembly." Not very helpful if you ask me.

Fisher Price Step & Play Piano lights up but no sound.

I assume

No sound when baby steps on the keys (with high volume setting)
You have used alkaline batteries
You have tried replacing your betteries
Tried sliding the power and volume switch off and then back on

If you answer yes for all above then it is time to call Fisher price and ask for replacements.

Proline Piano Keyboard Stand Assembly Hi, I just bought a Proline piano stand for an electronic keyboard, and the first step on the assembly directions is to move the clutch to the middle position....

Normally on my stand like this you PULL the knob outward (not turn it) to disengage the pin from the plate with the holes in it... Works quite well and the stand is moree stable than many.

How do you open a fisher price i can play piano to check for problems

Remove all the screws from the back, then feel for two dimples under the paper near the down arrow buttons on the top. When all 17 screws are removed the top and bottom will slide apart.
