I have a 42" Panasonic Plasma TV, and it started showing a series of vertical lines on the screen, over the image. The lines don´t change place, seem to be transparent though white and green, and are independent on channel or device (DVD, game console, TV). The TV is about 3 years old.
I turned on the tv this morning and the sound works but colorful vertical lines are on the screen. Sometimes it goes blue and then back to colorful vertical lines.
Curious why is the kdl55xbr8 way more expensive than the kdl46xbr8 and this is the only tv in the market that holds its value..true?
EASY! ok the 4th video processing unit is malfunctioning, if it is a Piano affect like the keys on the piano, then that can be fixed under your 1year warrenty after your 1year warrenty it will cost $200, but i could be wrong, i never studied panasonic plasma casue they ****, next time get a samsung.
the worst contrast and video ajustments, thats a panasonic.

Help! My Plasma by Magnavox is putting black verticle lines on the right side of the screen - comes and goes - and I replaced the entire Direct TV-HD unit - wires, everything - and had TV company repair - and it still came back. The TV repair refuses to take TV back because it does not show up when they come. Although I videotaped it and showed them which has the date and time - they still refused to take it - and tried to get me to sign a paper saying it was working while they were there - which of course I refused to sign - so they left and nastily said they will not be back-find someone else. I still have the lines - and do not know what to do! Can anyone help?
