Kindly check the Gateway used in the computer where internet is working.....
to find gateway follow this
start menu >>> RUN>> CMD>>>> Ipconfig
then configure this gateway in all other systems and ask for DNS from you isp as well..to provide DNS manulay.
If still dont work ...
tell me the all information you get by useing ipconfig command in the PC where internet is working.
like IP address
Gateway
DNS
i will make you a map to follow.

Hi,
So your basically connected straight to the internet,
This is your connection problem already, too many systems...
use the router as a gateway only, not for D.H.C.P.
all systems should be behind a router, especially the servers, these should be well away from the net, at least behind a firewalled router,
Promote the server to Domain Controller
install D.H.C.P. on it
If you have file servers thats ok, just connect them to the network.
( you will have to go round all PCs to change to AUTO D.H.C.P )
This is a saturday job for you when no one is working.
let the server handle D.H.C.P.
thats what it is for, exactly for your problem you have,
of a Growing LAN, yes 10-15 PCs is ok
but now 35, possible going upto 40-50, needs Automating.
Hope this helps
Richard.

same thing happened to me all you have to do is remove all the cables attached to your switch then reconnect it, the lights will stop blinking progressively and the switch will be fine again
SOURCE: I need to ask about my problem.
Make sure you're using a crossover ethernet cable to connect the router to the switch. Also make sure that the router has it's DHCP server up and running.
SOURCE: Setting up a small network using DSL and a DLink router
1.) The setup needs changing
2.) first off the dss-24 is a network switch not a router
3.) all of your pc equipment should be pluged into that device.
4.) chose one port as an uplink to your att modem
I think your problem is that the new modem is only giving out one ip address. So what ever first pc is turned on that is the one that grabs the address.
5.) you will most likly need a router to take the one ip address assigned via att then dole out additional ones. Remember the dss-24 is not a router. It simply connects everyone together. Each device still needs an ip address given from somewhere. Your old cable modem probibly did that but your new att dsl most likly does not.hence the new router will do that.....
to set it up do the following
2.) Find out the ip setup needed for your dsl service
A.) gateway ip
B.) primary & secondary dns server ip`s
C.) subnet mask
3.) get into the setup of your new router and then plugg in
all of these values using a fixed if address in the router
4.) connect routers wan port to one of the modems port. u may have to use a cross cable or straight look at the link lites to find out if they are talking to each other
5.) make sure that the routers lan side is setup for DHCP
6.) connect one lan port off the router to an uplink
of the dss-24. Then reboot everything
7.) viola it should all work internet on evey machine and file sharring.
