How to get rid of sweetpacks and delta search pc bought 05/12/2013
Three weeks ago , delta search and sweetpacks showed up on my desktop pc . I have tried running full scans of malwarebytes , orbit malware remover and superantispyware , avast, and microsoft security essentials . I open IE and firefox I don't see either one , but when I open google chrome I see both . Everything is slow now. All the scans I ran detected nothing . All are updated to latest version . My home pages , search engines all changed, I change back it does no good. I am getting all kinds of popups , and being redirected to strange websites . I am on firefox now , but with great difficulty. It is as if these viruses or whatever knows I'm trying to get rid of them . Each day gets worse. I am in safe mode with networking at this time .Please help . THANK YOU MARGARET

I went to the above site , and it was a complete and easy to follow set of directions and links to various site for programs to help to clean all the junk and those horrible annoying viruses sweetpacks and delta search .I followed his advice and I am happy to say all is well now . No more of those terrible fill your pc full of useless and dangerous addons. I cannot thank you enough for your advice . It was the solution to my problems and issues . When you are restarting the PC - Press F8 Key till you get the options to Boot Choose Last Known Good Configuration and load windows Once you have logged into your PC - try to MSCONFIG
If that does not work, Open Task Manager ( CTRL + ALT + DEL ) key and Click on Services Tab. Click the Services Button below. and it should let you open SERVICES.MSC
Disable all the Antivirus software installed ( double click on the software name and under Startup type - choose Disable ) Also Disable the Windows Installer

Try removing it from the add-ons if that do not resolve you can reset your browser by following these steps: 1. Type in the address bar line "about:config" and press enter. 2. Confirm the message. Type the name of the search you wish to remove in the search bar ex: Delta Search. 2. Right-click the entries and click Reset. Restart Firefox.
