Hello, I have an old philips magnavox tv model 9P5511C101 where the color worked just fine until an ''expert'' from AT&T came to install the Uverse cable system. I guess he/we didn't check the TV before he left, we figured he would leave everything in working order as he found it. Later I wanted to watch TV and to my surprise the colors are gone. I tried to make sure the cables were plugged in properly but there are too many. I didn't set it up, someone did it for me. I have a cable box, a surround sound, and the TV. I messed with the color, tint, picture, etc., and I can almost see yellow/green/blue, but no red (magenta). Please help!!! I'm watching TV in ''sepia'' color.

I have the same exact problem. We found a temporary solution is to give the TV a "love tap" on the on the back beneath where it says "SONY." My guess is something is loose in the back. Make sure you don't hit the TV too hard and try different spots if one isn't working.

have the color wheel checked for damage

This is not a simple question to answer without looking at it, my recommendation is to call a service center in your area. That's my professional opinion.

Need to do the alignment feature where it refocuses the light beams. Convergance. Look through the set up. Different magnetism and shaking of the set has thrown it off most likely. Auto focus maybe what its called.
