Multiple sign-in is most convenient to use on devices that you don't share with other people (where you won't need to sign out to let others access their own accounts).

Sign in to additional accounts

  1. Sign in to a supported Google product.
  2. Click your name or email address at the top of the page.
  3. Select Add account from the drop-down menu.

  4. On the page that opens, enter the email address and password for another account you wish to access, and click Sign in.

  5. Switch between accounts

Once you're signed in to more than one account in the same browser, you can easily switch accounts. Just click your name or email address at the top and click on the email address you'd like to sign in to.

Products that do not support multiple sign-in

Some Google products and mobile versions of Google products do not support the use of multiple accounts in the same web browser. Instead, they default to the first account that you signed in to from your current browser.
If you want to use an account with a product that doesn't support multiple accounts, you have two options:
    • Sign out of all your Google Accounts and then sign in to the account you want to access.
    • Sign in to another account using a second web browser Learn more.

    Signing out

If you choose to sign out of any account while using multiple sign-in, you will be signed out of all your accounts. To resume using multiple sign-in, you will need sign in to one account and then use the Add Account option to sign in to your other account(s).

Add a new email address, another name, and password

You can have your own Amazon account. It sounds like you share a computer. Amazon is remembering who last logged in, and that's why your husbands name pops up. To log in with your account, look in the upper right portion of Amazon and select "your account." From there you can log out of your husbands account, then back in using your account. If you don't log out, your account will probably be the one that shows up next time...

My husband and I use the same computer. He has a facebook account and uses a seperate e mail address than I do. I've tried to access the facebook home page in an attempt to open a page in my name and each...

Easiest way is to add yourself as a user to the computer (Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Create a new account), then your software settings are retained in their own location on the computer as long as you select to log on as you and not your husband.

How can I make sure I don’t lose access to my account?

In the event that you forget your password, you will need to request a password reset. This password reset email will only go to email addresses that you have confirmed on your account. As such, if you are unable to access the email addresses on your Facebook account, you will not be able to receive your password reset email and may lose access to your account completely. You can prevent this situation by taking the following measures:
  • Add a secondary email address to your Facebook account.
  • Add a security question to your Facebook account.
  • Make sure email addresses on your Facebook account are active (you are able to access them).
  • Maintain accurate information on your profile, such as name, date of birth, and email addresses. This helps us locate your account, should you lose access to it.
