We need the motherboard make / model to provide an answer.

Intel 845 only provides chipset information.

Hi pc_ski,
Download the manual for your board, click on this PDF link.
http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/D845GLLY/ADLY_English.pdf

See page 64 first for the layout of the front panel header. The block you need to refer to is letter C. Here you'll see where pin one is located at.
Go to page 65. Table 32 shows the pin assignments for the front panel header. Pin-1 & pin-2 is for the HDD & pin-7 & pin-8 for reset switch.

Have more questions? Post here.
Good luck pc_ski!

Accidently un-setaed three jump switches --Power EW,Power LED, HD

If your talking about the pins on the mother board for the on power switch, HDD LED, reset, power led, and system speaker you would need to note the make and model of *********** board. If you look very closely you should see little letters for example , PWS, HDD,RST,PCS,PLED, These mach up to the pins on the motherboard. also most commonly the PC speaker has an open pin so it will be 3 pins long and not just 2. To find the make and model of a motherboard you can find a name and a group of numbers something like " Intel A33Y97 " and then google for more information if needed.

I have a intel 478 board an don`t know how to connect power poer led

The power led wires ( there are two) go onto the two pins on the top row of the front panel coonetcor block on the board, on the 1st and 2nd pins working from left to right.

The full connector block is wired as follows:

top row: left to right >>
1st& 2nd are Power LED, the 3rd & 4th are the power switch, the 5th is empty.
The bottom row: left to right >>
1st & 2nd are hdd light, the 3rd & 4th are the reset switch, the 5th pin has no connector to the pin
Note: the power led and hdd terminals are to produce a light when the pc is on and busy.If the lights do not show, turn off the pc, turn the connectors round 180deg, reconnect and turn back on again. Job done

Changing motherboard

Since both boards use the same chipset (Intel 845), you shouldn't have any problem with components. (The one possible glitch will be the memory - some motherboards are a little picky.)
Keep in mind that you will likely have to reformat the hard drive and reinstall your operating system and programs, but sometimes you get lucky. (Even then, if you're running Windows XP, Microsoft is likely to ask you to reactivate.)
More info and drivers are available for download here:

Good luck.
