Single mother of four wash machine not working only 2 yrs old.

sounds like the start button has dirty contacts you can try contact cleaner or replacing the switch

remember this , you are playing with deadly voltage and water and you could end up under ground
the fix is a technician but at that age a new washing machine would be a better proposition as you get a new supply of parts and a warranty period free
one bought warranty period will get to the service life of the machine and after that it is good luck if you get another 3 years after that period

Your washer lid lock button is locked and lid was not put down before it locked, which is why the light is flashing. Therefore, push the "START" button until you see the lid lock button is off (Approx 3 seconds). Once it is off, then you can put the lid down and push the start button again, which will lock the lid into place. The washer will NOT drain or wash or spin unless the lid itself is in the locked position. If you were able to get the lid down and locked and it still doesn't work, then you need a technician to replace a wiring harness. However, you mentioned that the lid lock button was flashing, therefore, it stands to reason that your lid is NOT locked down.

Probably a fault with the lock or latch; should be no problem for an engineer to fix. Just try giving the door a firm push to close it, to see if the padlock light comes on.

Ive been told that this is a faulty cold water valve. Just got of the phone with F & P as my machine is doing the same. Bout $60 to replace

i have the problem when i turn power on 2 green wash cycle lights plus the red lid lock stay on with constant beeping every second then when i push the start button the 2 green lights go out and the red lid lock light stays on but no beeps please help
