That would depend on, among other factors, your pension contributions. Please contact your pension administrator for details. FixYa has no access to your private financial information.

My employment contract did not specify a retirement age but when I turned 70 I was told I had to retire. Can I claim UIF?

They can do anything, but if they are terminating you on age related grounds and it isn't in your contract, they have to pay you severance pay despite your age.

The labour lawyer will guide you, you don't need us.

I am coming up to 66, I think you should have been retired years ago :>) I plan to retire the day after my next birthday.

That's not what I ask did congress rise retirement age for the tax payer

From the SS site (guessing that's what you asked) -

Currently, the full benefit age is 66 years and 2 months for people born in 1955, and it will gradually rise to 67 for those born in 1960 or later. Early retirement benefits will continue to be available at age 62, but they will be reduced more.

Sweden raising retirement age ?

Hello, Arlyce -

See this article:
http://www.france24.com/en/20171214-sweden-raise-earliest-retirement-age-64

How did I find it? I used my favorite search engine, Google, and entered the following search phrase, using quotation marks as indicated:
Sweden "retirement age"

By the way, Fixya.com is a website meant to ask and answer questions on how to fix things. As a retired librarian, a better way to get information like what you have asked is to telephone or visit your local public librarian and ask a reference / information librarian. :)

Im 62yrs what do i need to apply for pension

I can only comment on the UNITED STATES...
(and totally in my opinion.. on "Social Security").

You can apply at 62 years of age... (80%)
(soon... since Johnny Carson was on the AIR)
they HAVE been wanting to raise the retirement
age...
What is the Social Security Retirement Age

That's NOT THE ONE you need to WATCH...
Medicare gets ugly, expensive & hostile if
you fail to register at the AGE of 65.

CERTAIN penalties will apply... ($$$).

As a precautionary measure...
you should
start getting FORMS and doing your duties
at 64½ years... You CAN APPLY 3 (three)
months.. because Civil Service hostilities
know no bounds... when it comes to old
ordinary TAXPAYERS... (you better hope
you are in HOSPICE... totally uncivilized: On
you like a DUCK on a JUNEBUG and on
ALL your "DIME"... (in my opinion).

Unless your name sounds like the
"Right Reverend Al Sharpton"...
(
Reverend Alfred Charles Sharpton Jr.)
Al Sharpton Owes Millions in Taxes

Pay close attention:
Even SNOPES can't deny: "Mixed"

That's only "ONE" of the very few above the LAW...
(totally... I'm my opinion)

Just do your duty:
Is Medicare mandatory at age 65

Is Medicare mandatory

I'm just saying...

As a oldage pensioner, can I still earn some money,if so how much/

Are you in the U.S.? Are you talking about Social Security? If so, when you have reached full retirement age, you can earn any amount without penalty. If you are younger than full retirement age, there will be a calculation to show the limit. If you are not in the U.S. disregard this.

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.

Your problem is simple, you have a water supply problem. Your water shut off valve is plugged up and your are not getting the 60 PSI pressure to open the solenoid valves on your ice maker or water dispenser. Water shut off valves age and the seat becomes blocked.

Although, retired I work on the side. I just had this problem 3 months ago.
