My fridge won't freeze a water bottle or make ice, and the refrigerator side freezes vegetables, eggs, and other items. This fridge seems to gets worse as the overall termperature gets warmer. I don't have ice in the summer and can't keep freeze anything. Any ideas what to check or what may be the problem?
In the back there is a radiator and it is frozen solid, you have to deice it, unplug the fridge and take the cover off and remove the ice build up, hair dryer should do the trick, or leave it unplugged for few hours.

Your refrigerator has electronic dampers that may be only stuck. I think it would not hurt to defrost the refrigerator and lets have a look at those damper motors and see if they are responding to your control settings. Let me know, Sea Breeze

HOW TO STOP MY PRODUCE FROM FREEZING
SOURCE: my side by side kenmore refrigerator, freezer isnt freezing
in the back of the freezer there is an "evaporator coil" .. that has many fine fins and is used to cool the air .. you dont normally see it because there is a panel bolted over it ... if the door was left ajar for awhile then ice forms on the evaporator and stops air from flowing thru it ... the result is that it cant cool the freezer properly ... if this is the problem then you can fix it by taking everything out ( use an insulated tote to store things or use a neighbors frig overnight .... turn your refrigerator off or unplug it ... open both doors and let it thaw out for a day or overnight ... put down towells to collect the melting ice .. you can even blow warm air into the bottom of the freezer to make it thaw faster but be careful not to overheat plastic parts .. once the unit is completely free of internal ice then it should start to work again like new ..
