I have the same problem. When I try to charge a battery the green LED onthe charger flashes green and the battery does not charge. Any ideas?

Green light comes on, what about other indicator lights? Is there activity like fans humming. Try to take out the battery and power up using the ac adapter only.

things to check first: make sure the battery connections are clean and tight; check the ground at the frame; check the fuse. you didn't mention brand of engine but, the starter gear may be stuck in the flywheel or the valves need adjusting, and the start solenoid could be defective. BUT, since the battery seems to need charging all the time, on a briggs, the diode in the alternator wire could be shorted, allowing the juice to flow back out of the battery - kohler and kawasaki usually use a voltage regulator that could be shorted

I have this model dvd player and it has worked very well for over a year. Lately it has not had a picture but has had sound when fully charged. When the green light is on, it is charging. When the light goes off, it is fully charged (or should be). I plugged the wall charger directly into the dvd player and it works fine with pic and sound. I think maybe the rechargable battery is on it last legs. I am looking for a longer cig lighter charger cord to reach the headrest so kids can watch from backseat. I will be able to keep it plugged in to charger at all times. Hope this helps!

Your problem is part of the dreaded A90 error code these cameras get. My camera had this last year and updated firmware cured it till this month when my wife let the battery go dead and the problem returned, but firmware update won't fix it this time around.Go to Pentax site and download new firmware for camera. Follow instructions that come from Pentax on the download to install software. Its pretty easy. These are cheap cameras as far as Pentax is concerned. They only work for about 2 years, based on other users and my experience. Good luck

Try taking the battery out and plugging it into the wall with only the charger and see if it turns on. does The green light came on?.

same here! first my original car charger stopped working, so i purchased a replacement (a generic one off ebay), plugged it in and the little light on the top right turns on. but i have not been able to turn it on. i've left it charging for at least a half hour and nothing. any ideas?
