Flat screen tv feel off wall cracked can it be fixed

    Thank you what a relief but what if there was no picture on the flat screen would it still be able to be fixed thank you thats a relief

The component is less than a dollar if you can do the repair. If not, it's a lot more expensive. If the screen needs replaced, it's almost the same cost as a new TV, sometimes more.

Yes it can be fixed by a repair center.but if the internal circuit board is craked or broken it will cost very heavy to get it repaired.if the screen and outer frame cracked the cost will be ok---ok. get it fixed.

    yes thats because of faulty ic or capacitor on the main board.as the component will not be faulty.it has got moved from its position due to fall.the cost of per component is not more then 1/4 dollar.in 1 dollar you can get 4 capacitors or two ic.
    worth reparing.

LG-LCD 42in. tv-Cracked screen...just bought it and it feel from shelf on wall. I keep thinking if I sell it cheap to a local repair shop, maybe he can get a discounted part and fix it and sell it...I am...
Sell it online, on Ebay or Craigslist - you will get more than from a repair shop - about $150. Or even better, dismantle it yourself and sell the parts - you could easily get $200; just make sure the buyer pays the postage.

LG 42" tv LCD pannels inside tv have a cracked
The set needs a new LCD if it looks cracked and swirly, the colors all run together in the area of the crack don't they! If it is cracked it can't be fixed. you can replace the lcd but I am not sure if a warranty will cover a cracked screen or not. You will need to contact LG and be very nice to them and see if they will honer the warranty on this.

Sorry. The replacement screen is nearly as expensive as the TV. It probably will cost more to fix than the TV is worth. Just do the correct thing and look for a new TV!

Cracked LCD Screen
check ebay online for parts. the problem with a cracked screen is that to get it new, it cost too much. sometimes i find tv's that don't work but have good screens on ebay and you can pick them up cheap. good luck.

Cracked screen
The LCD screen itself often cost more then the tv set itself. If you have accidental insurance you might see if they cover this, otherwise this will make a nice lava lamp like art display for a bedroom wall.......

Crack inside of screen
This screen has multiple layers of plastic before you get to the main screen, if the picture isnt affected, you've only cracked oneof the plastic pieces, these are cheap to replace

If the glass that you can feel on the front of the tv is cracked, then just replace the glass (called filter). The cost is about 150.00. If the pannel is cracked buy a new tv. It costs to much.
