WHEN TRYING TO LOAD NEW OS ON THE BLACK SCREEN WITH WHITE CURSOR I GET VERTICAL DOTTED LINES. THE OS WILL NOT START TO LOAD.

had white dots on mine as well i changed the dlp chip and put it back together and got the white vertical lines i decided to check all connections and make sure the chip was locked in correctly
it was not locked in securely i reassembled and now problem solved picture looks brand new so always check connections before assuming its the dmd board

Can you check the function buttons and make sure the primary display is set to show the output on the laptop. Try repairing your OS. If not then re-install the os. As you are saying till the time windows gets loaded, all works fine so it seems the issue isn't really the hardware.

IF YOU HAVE A SOLID BLACK LINE RUNNING VERTICALLY THEN YOU HAVE A FAULTY MATRIX INVERTER. IF CENTRAL THE MAIN VERTICAL INVERTER NEEDS CHANGED. LEFT = LEFT VERTICAL INVERTER RIGHT=RIGHT.........

ANOTHER WAY TO GET THIS FAULT IS WORN OR DAMAGED RIBBON/PLASTIC GOING FROM THE SCREEN MATRIX TO THE INVERTER

It's a connection inside the TV that's faulty. It could be as simple as reseating the ribbon cables that connect the control board to the glass display. Or it could be that the fault is on the board and needs to be replaced. The fact that the problem comes and goes should tell you it's fixable.

go into your bios and make sure that video memory shadowing is dissabled, Sounds like a faulty video card or damaged signal cable. I would lean more to the faulty card though, try installing a new one as I would say thats your issue if your getting artifacts on the screen before the OS has fully loaded.

OFC you could try new drivers both for your chipset of *********** board and the graphics card in the interim.

Most likely it's graphic card problem, but also may be monitor itself. First, check the signal by connecting to TV (if yours has a PC input), then replace card if that shows the same.

check your game for deep scratches on the cd if there is none, then your best bet is shipping it back to microsoft or there is actually a company that fixes your 360 for a cheaper price. just google xbox 360 recall and if you look through the pages of signatures you will find an advertisement for 360 recalls go to that and call the #, i hope it works out for ya.

Hi i on u r screen white dotted vertical lines comming & if the no. is more than 6 the if the laptop is under warrenty then company will replace the LCD & if not under warrenty then to fix this issue u have to replace the LCD.
