Water remains in Whirpool Gold Quiet Partner dishwasher

Noticed machine prior to this, was making abnormaly louder grinding sound

  • ian483 Apr 07, 2009

A small piece of plastic had clogged the hose, not sure what it came from but that must have been the grinding sound as it got chopped up.

    Thanks

Sounds like an issue with the drain pump, disconnecting the drain hose fromm the trap and run the unit, pointing the disconnected drain hose into a bucket. You should get a fairly strong stream of water until most of the unit has drained, if not you either have a blockage or ,with the grinding sound, a bad pump.

The timing circuit may be defective and the circuit board needs replacing. Have an authorized serviceman do a continuity test on the board and have it rest to factory specs.

Whirpool dishwasher gold quiet partner 3 is leaving a heavy film and waste on dishes is there a filter to be cleaned?

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

Question on brand reliability

Whirlpool Golds are very good machines. Also reliable, not many problems posted about these machines. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Whirlpool Gold line, than you will be very excited that this is the slightly upper-mid-level product line that gives you amazing features and quality.
