SOURCE: frigidaire dishwasher...

It is very possible that something could be obstructing the main pump. But, first. Does your dishwasher fill with enough water? When full, the water level should fill to just below the heating element. You can check this by waiting for the fill cycle to stop and the normal wash cycle to begin. Open the door and check the water level. If your dishwasher isn't getting enough water, you could have a bad fill valve, or the inlet water line could be kinked. If this isn't the case, then suspect that you might have a clogged pump. Food particles such as popcorn kernels, orange or lemon seeds, small chicken bones and glass are notorious for getting into the pump screen area and obstructing the water flow (some of the other items I have found are labels off jars, bottle top seals, twist ties, rib bones, hair scrunchies, and yes - even band-aids!). Even though some dishwasher manufacturers advertise some amazing capabilities of their dishwashers, you still need to scrape your dishes of all food particles as much as possible. This does not mean you have to pre-wash prior to loading them. Anything that doesn't get dissolved by the wash cycle and detergent will end up sitting in the pump well. If the pump isn't able to pump enough water, your dishwasher will fill normally, but the spray arms will not turn, detergent does not dissolve and your dishes will not come clean. To get to the pump, you need to remove the lower spray arm and the coarse screen (located directly under the lower spray arm). The pump well should be located under the coarse screen. Look for anything that may restricting the water flow. I hope this helps and it's easy fix for you.

SOURCE: Frigidaire Dish washer MODEL

hi there aaliyazaidi2.is the water clear or dirty that you find in the dishwasher?there are two ways this could be happening.1,if the water is dirty[although it dose not have to be ,but its a sure clue]its you drain line of your dishwasher.what happens is because the drain line is lower than the sink drain, when you use your sink water runs by way of gravity in to the drain hose and then fills up your dishwasher, till you drain it or wash a load...to solve this problem you need too make a loop as we repairman call it.get some zip ties ,or what ever[string] and tie your drain hose off at the top off the sink under the sink cabinet[imagin your drain hose as a roller coaster, the hose coming from the dishwasher is the start of the coaster before it goes to the top of the big hill.what you want to do is ,at the top of the roller coaster hill, tie your drain hose to what ever you can under you sink causing a hill so when your hose goes back down ,it ends up into your disposer or what ever plumbing it ends up into.[hay i hope i helped you understand what i mean their];#2,the other way is your dishwasher water valve may not be sealing well. the water would only be clear if this was the issue and could be warm water because its only hot water to the dishwasher.what happens here is because the water valve is not sealing water slowly adds to your dishwasher may be drops at a time, and over the hours gone by it accumulates and the you notice water in the tub.to solve this you replace the water valve.its[most of the time blue, but could be tan or white]under the dishwasher.the water line from your house goes to it.i hope this helps you you can email if you need more help. God bless ,tom

SOURCE: My dishwasher is not washing dishes on the top rack...

HI,

The top rack is not cleaning because of low water pressure from the wash motor to the upper spray arm.
Assuming the top spray arms are clear of debris, remove the lower spray arm to access the wash motor. Remove the 4 torx screws and the filter (accumulator assembly). Remove the torx screw and the inlet protector that covers the chopper assembly. Make sure the chopper is not broken (broken chopper will fill with debris and block water flow). While holding the chopper blade, reach inside the "D" shaped opening on top of the motor and spin the wheel/motor by hand in each direction to make sure either the chopper gear or the motor gear that drives the chopper is not broken. Replace the chopper if necessary . If the motor gear is broken, replace the sump and motor assembly . Remove any debris from the sump area in the process.
You don't have to shut the power off to the dishwasher because the door will be open, but if you feel more comfortable, do so.

thanks,

SOURCE: Frigidaire Dishwasher FDB2810LDC1 not draining

Sure its redeemable if you have the time and money. If I understand you correctly when you move the lowewr spray arm the water drains out? If this is the case then more than likely its a pump motor or solenoid. Reason I say this is on the bottom of the spray arm is a impeller and under that is filter and then pump impeller that drains the water. If its not draining but will by hand then its your pump motor or solenoid. When you start the washer then press cancel/drain do you hear anything? Maybe a humming sound. One more thing could be a thermal fuse for the motor. These are usually not resetable its a one time fuse if it blows you have o buy another one.Hope this helps

How do I reassemble the drain pump filter for a Frigidaire ATF6700fs0?

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand you want to know how to reassemble the drain pump filter for your Frigidaire washer, model# ATF6700FS0. Typically, this is not a do it yourself job, as there are no step by step instruction manuals. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your appliance and should be able to reassemble the drain pump filter with ease. Hope this is helpful.

Dryer says e64 and turns off what does that mean

Chris Polk had an answer as follows in August:"Typically error code E64 is an indication that the heater circuit is in the open position. This is not a simple DIY job; I would highly recommend consulting a professional to move forward accurately. The certified technician will need to check the heater coils and connections for open circuits. Depending on the diagnosis the heater or wiring may need replacing." Good luck.

Clogged drain in frigidaire dish washer

Hello Ian Younker - When did you last clean the filter? Most dishwashers have a glass trap located in the center of the filter designed to collect pieces of broken glass, straws, pits, etc. You should simply be able to grasp handle, lift out, empty and place it back. Also is the unit making a grinding noise? If so, I personally will recommend consulting a professional because you may possibly have a defective drain motor.

Draining problems usually are a result of a blocked or failed pump. From what I can tell, your model of machine does not have easy access to the pump. However, if you were confident, you could UNPLUG the machine, remove the cover, and inspect the pump yourself, or get someone who is qualified to do so.

I have a Frigidaire front loaded dryer that is just a few years old. It continually beeps and the lights on the front panel flash and after few minutes it shuts off. How do I fix this problem?

I had encountered issues like your concern regarding the problem Frigidaire dryer. Most of them had contacted the Frigidaire repairman to check and put in a new control board and it works like brand new. Though it costs $100 for the service but this amount will be refunded if you contact the Electrolux and ask for a code to give unto the repairman to cover the cost of the board.

So you may be guided, just send your contact information, and the best time to contact you. He would also need your model and serial number and a file number if available.

I hope it helps ^_^

My frigidaire affinity washer doesnt spin during the rinse cycle.

Hi javierc569,

Before the Spin Cycle should start, all water must be drained out of the machine. If it does not start, it could likely mean the Drain pump may be clogged. Please follow my below tip on the fix:

ACCESS, DRAIN & CLEAN THE DRAIN PUMP FILTER...

If this does not help, the drain pump may be faulty.

Kind Regards

Pgp368gsc frigidaire stove clock will not light up after power surge. Able to reset time but clock doesn't stay lit.

From what you have described, seems the power surge has damaged the control board inside of your unit. Now you would need a service technician to install the part, but depending on how old the unit is will depict how you can go about purhcasing the control board part, or possible have it covered under warranty ( all depends on the age of the unit ).

You may contact me directly with you and your unit's information and I can further research what your next steps should be.

What is e20 mean

E20 is an error code for drainage failure.

Check where the appliance drain hose connects to the house drains for a blockage.

If it's onto a spigot under the sink, take them off and check both for a blockage.

If these are ok then it's likely to be a blockage in the pump.

You'll need to drain the water out manually.

Put a shallow dish below the filter and slacken the filter.

Tighten it to stop the flow of water while you empty the dish.

Once empty, take the filter out, clean out the debris and ensure nothing is left jamming the pump.

Before refitting the filter, put the machine on drain or spin and listen at the filter housing to see if you can hear the pump running.

If you do, fit the filter and try the machine again.

[email protected] Another tech had this information to share: 6 beeps / E68 - Push button does not function
Cause:
Push button held too long or wedged in the control panel.

Solution:
Press buttons lightly and release.
Disengage button.

Try doing that first if the error code still shows up, then you'll likely need a new control board assembly.
