It appears the bottom hinge is missing a screw, causing the door to slightly sag and rub when opening and closing
Repairing the loose, detached hinge is simple.
First buy a pop rivet tool and 1/8'' or 3mm rivets for about $16 at lowes
Second remove the door. There is a little plastic pop tab on the inside top corner of the door by the hinge that keeps the door from lifting off of the hinge pins. Use a 1 inch putty knife or maybe a butter knife and pry from the bottom crack. Once tab is off the entire door can be lifted off.
Third, line up the little holes in the bracket with the little holes in the microwave face. Insert a pop rivet in the hole and squeeze the tool till it pops off. I put one 3mm rivet on the top hinge and one on the bottom.
No drilling needed on my Fridgidaire PLMV169DCd microwave. I guess u could drill a 1/8'' hole thru the microwave face and the hinge bracket if there isn't one on your model.
Just want to say Thanks demonhunter. This worked GREAT I didn't know what I was going to do. Thanks again
Your welcome. My fix has lasted a year now with no issues. I did change the bottom 3mm rivet to the next bigger one ( i had to drill the hole bigger just a tiny bit).
Thanks! The pop rivet repair was easy and worked great. Saved me from purchasing a new microwave.

This should be fixed to prevent microwave leaking out. If you can not find a screw at a local hardware or appliance store look at;

Hello Irfan, thank you for your post!
From the information you have provided the door on your Frigidaire microwave is sagging. Your door could be sagging due to the hinges or the door being damaged. I would check to make sure there is no visible damage. It is possible that the hinges and door may need to be replaced as well. To help avoid any unnecessary part purchases you may need to seek assistance from a professional technician for proper repairs. -Matt

I have the same problem with my Frigidaire over the range model # GLMV169DS. There was never a screw used at this point, there is a hole which makes it look like it needs a screw But clearly the design is FLAWED, the hinge point is welded inside the cabinet and cannot stand up to the continued use. I'm sure this was just a spot weld and most of the weight of the door rests on this point along with the action or opening and closing and the added weight of the user's hand while operating the door.
This will be a major repair, in that the unit will have to come completely out and somewhat disassemble to get inside to make this repair. I hope Frigidaire does the right thing.
