Ty for being here. I have a kenmore stack washer dryer. Washer is a model 417.94802 301. The hot water feed work fine comming into the machine. However the cold feed only comes in at a trickle. I disconted the cold hose from back of machine. Turned on the cold water valve. Thier is plenty of hot water comming to the machine. Checked the wire filter inside the the feed where the cold water hose attaches to machine. it was clean, no plugs. I tried to take out the adapter where the hot and cold go into the machine. no luck without takeing the back off the machine. Is it possible somewhere inside my machine from where the cold water feeds in and where it dumps into the wash machine tub i have a plug? How can I check this? Got a plug somewhere.
For low water volume - or "Trickling" effect...
1. Turn off the water supply to both hoses.
2. Remove hoses (one at a time so you don't get them confused)
3. On the washer side - look for a removeable screen inside wher you just removed the hose.
4. Using a small screwdriver - pop out the screen and reverse-flush it/clean it. It will likely be full of sediment and calcium deposits from your pipes.
5. Replace the inlet screens.
6. Re-fit the hose to the machine.
7. Turn on water supply valves.
8. re-try.
