There are currently no known issues with Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista based on our initial limited testing and customer feedback. We do recommend that you backup your system and create a restore point before updating to SP1, should you encounter any problems after installing the update.

So, assuming you have bought the latest Spysweeper (and assuming you have Vista 64 bit) , then you need to upgrade your Vista to SP1.

check bestbuy or offices depot and walmart may have a 32 bit free virsues and spyware but not sure.

microsoft provides upgrade discs from it's site (you should payteh freight).
If u are using Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic, there is no way to upgrading.

else, the other versions allows u to upgrade.
remember: the only difference between 32 and 64 bit is the RAM memory usage (32 bit will not use more than 3,2GB RAM), and there are a lot of programs that won't run properly in 64 bit version .

how to change themes

If yours is a PC, Windows Vsita 64 bit should recognize 4 GB RAM. Have you tried the 64 bit bootable linux? Try with that. If you see less than 4GB, then you must check your BIOS for some setting which is the setting to share to the graphics memory or some limit.
