We have a Razor Ground Force electric powered Go Kart that is a littler over a year old. A few months ago it suddenly stopped working. It turns on but thats it. No movement when the accelerator lever is push forward. Any ideas?
Replace thumb tab throttle. part is $12.99 from razor. go to razor site to order. i had the same problem after my daughter drove it over a bumpy sidewalk.

Why does my Electric Four wheeled prodcut make a 'clicking' sound ? Select the problem you are experiencing: Rear wheel barely moves. Try the following: Lift rear end up and manually spin rear wheel forward. Should spin 3-4 times with no resistance. If the wheel does not spin freely, replace rear wheel. Battery shows fully charged, lights on throttle light up, unit does not move. Try the following: Remove battery/motor cover to check for loose connection(s). If connections are loose, reconnect them. Secure unit; turn power on & with NO weight on the unit, lift back end up & apply throttle. If rear wheel spins freely, replace the battery and/or charger. Remove batter/motor cover & unplug brake connector from Control Module. Secure unit; turn power on & apply throttle. If the motor engages/rear wheel spins, then replace brake lever If the motor does NOT engage, replace throttle & control module.
On my razor drifter, as soon as I turn on the switch it starts going!! Eat could it be?
Thank you thank you! Brand new drifter and we got a new control box and a new throttle. Still nothing. It was intermittent before we changed them out. I unplugged the connector for the break to the control box and instantly ot worked. The break still works mechanically with the cable, but its not going thrunthe box now.. no biggie.. I've got 1 happy kid here, and spare parts for the future. Thanks a million. -JENNIFER

Mine does that too just hold the brake down let go and then see if it works!

My razor go cart starts running as soon as I turn on the switch. What can be wrong?
