Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Which model KitchenAid dishwasher do you have? On some models, the Control Lock can be toggled on/off by holding the Energy Saver Dry touch pad for at least 4 seconds or until the Control Lock light turns on or off.

On another model, the touch pad to press and hold is the 4 Hour Delay button. (On that model, you press and hold for 3+ seconds.) There is often a very tiny label below or on the touchpad indicating which key controls the Control Lock.

If you haven't held the button for long enough, pressing the other touch pads will lead to the Control Lock light blinking 3 times if the Control Lock is active.

If the press and hold method still doesn't work after several attempts, then you may have a problem with the control panel. The dishwasher may need repair.

(the Control Lock feature keeps the dishwasher settings from being changed accidently or the unit started when it isn't needed. This can stop a child from resetting the dishwasher or the unit being started while you clean it.)

Simply press and hold the dispenser lock and auto light buttons on the dispenser (at the same time) for four (4) seconds until the filter status indicator begins to flash, then release the buttons. On some Amana refrigerators, you need to press the dispenser lock and water buttons for four (4) seconds until the filter status indicator begins to flash, then release the buttons.
Also note that

Remove the old water filter from your refrigerator by turning the handle counterclockwise and pulling it out of the filter holder. The filter is located in the upper right corner of the refrigerator.

Step 2Slide the replacement filter into the filter holder and turn it clockwise.

Step 3Press and hold the "Reset Filter" button until the indicator lights go off if your model refrigerator has a "Reset Filter" button on the control panel.

Step 4Hold the "Lock" and "Light" buttons on the control panel until the filter indicator lights turn off if your model refrigerator does not have a "Reset Filter" button. For models that do not have a "Light" button, press and hold the "Lock" and "Water" buttons.

Hold the control lock button until the washer beeps and it will unlock the controls

Solution: Hold down the power and delay start button at the same time. In about 3-4 seconds a beep will occur and the red key lock will turn off. I think it is a problem in the machines firmware. I just guessed at what combination of buttons the engineers used to do a firmware reset. In any case it worked for me.
