It sounds like your valves may need to be adjusted...
if they are too lose or worn they won't seat properly and when the engine fires it blows back through the intake valve.
pull the cover and see if the rockers are loose... it only takes one to give you a headache.

SOURCE: Engine misses bad when running above half

Check out http://www.aa1car.com/library/cm1196.htm. You must first identify the type of fouling which is occurring. Examine the chart and compare it to your fouled spark plug. Look up the cause which will direct you to the solution.

SOURCE: I have a j.d. 345 lawn tractor with 20 h.p.

It sounds like you have a stuck valve on the carb. I recommend taking the carb off, taking it apart and cleaning everything well with carb cleaner. When you remove the lower bulb on the carb there will be a float valve inside. Check the tiny needle valve for any residue. If it still looks bad (the valve) after cleaning you may need to replace it.

Usually a good cleaning once every year or two will take care of any carb problems.

When I start my Kawasaki Mule 3010 with the choke out when cold it will start and then seems to run the carb out of gas and stalls. If I wait 5 to 10 min and try it it will start and it will run fine

Sounds like not getting petrol, clean petrol tap to get a good flow and clean and strip carburetor the needle and seat could be clogged any way clean and blow out jets and holes with compressed air put back together and away you go.

Kawasaki fc420v-fuel leaking from carb.

I have the exact same problem on a JD175 with the same engine--gas spewing out of a hole above where the fuel line connects on the back of the carburetor housing. There's a similar hole on the opposite (front) side of the housing. I'm told there are factory-installed plugs in both holes and the whole carburetor assemble will need to be replaced. Please post if you discover something different!

Klx250 wont run it has spark new battery and cleaned carby but wont fire up will occasionaly start and run fine

Remove the filter or filter connection to the back side of the carb and spray it with starter fluid. If it starts when you do that each time, the carbs still have a problem and need to be cleaned out again or adjusted correctly.

I started the bike and was at full throttle when running but throttle was not sticking maybe floats stuck,so i took carb off cleaned it and put it back on know bike won't start at all ,i have spark going...

Are you certain the throttle butterfly or slide (depending on what model bike you have) is seated...if the actual throttle in the carb throat is not closing, starting bike cold will be very difficult as you are feeding in too much air.

Have a 25 horse kawasaki lawn mower flooding

Sounds like there is some debris in the inlet jet of your carb. You will need to clean and rebuild your carb to solve this problem. Suggestion: When cleaning your carb, replace the diaphrams as they will harden with age and cause hard starting also. Another tip...before you remove your jets on your carb, count the number of turns it takes to seat them, that way when you replace them you will seat them and then back them back out to the correct number of turns they were originally set at. Good Luck, I hope this helped Please Rate me, Thanks

Jet Ski Won't Start when Engine is cold

You must take out completely the carbs and clean them especially their canisters with the flowters. They may have jelled gas inside or closed air pipes.Use a carb cleaner spray and compressed air.

MTD Yardman push mower runs fine for awhile then cuts off.

Try buying a new plug first but if it continues then I would say that there is debris in the carb.
