IH8Sn0w, the developer of Sn0wBreeze recently announced on Twitter that he had released an updated version to his infamous jailbreak tool. This new version of Sn0wBreeze supposedly works with every device on iOS 4.1, including the iPad iOS 3.2.2.
Sn0wBreeze is like PwnageTool for Windows. It allows you to create a custom firmware while preserving the baseband and hacktivating the phone, thus making it possible for you to unlock using UltraSn0w.
Historically, most people have had problems at some point using Sn0wBreeze. While I have a huge respect for iH8Sn0w, I still wouldn't recommend the use of his tool. If you don't have a Mac and can't use PwnageTool, I'm sure you can always find a friend or family member who can create a custom firmware for you.
At the end of the day, do what you think is best for you. If you do decide to jailbreak using Sn0wBreeze, I'd like to hear about your experience. I hope you can prove me wrong and show me that SnowBreeze is indeed a great jailbreak. You can download SnowBreeze and also this Whatsapp Recovery for more details for the recovery methods.

Try this first:
In most cases, you can solve these problems by putting the phone into recovery mode and restoring it from backup with the help of iPhone Data Recovery. To do that, follow these instructions:
1. Connect the iPhone's USB cable to your computer, but not your iPhone.
2. Turn your iPhone off. If the phone won't turn off in the traditional manner, just keep holding the buttons until the screen goes dark.
3. Once you've turned the device off, press the home button on the face of the device and plug in the USB cable to the device's dock connector.
4. When it turns on, keep pressing the home button until the iTunes logo appears on the screen.
5. You'll know the phone is now in recovery mode because a window in iTunes will tell you.
6. You can then start the restore process by clicking the "Restore" button in the iTunes window.
Definitely go to fix iPhone stuck at Apple logo.

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least six seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for a few seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

More resets:
Try This:
1. Remove Sim Card
2. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until Apple logo appears
3. Replace Sim Card
4. Hold in 'Home' button and 'On/Off' button together until normal phone screen appears.

Also, Try this:
1.) Shut down the iPhone 3G.
2.) Start up iTunes
3.) Hold down HOME button on the iPhone 3G

SOURCE: jailbroken iphone 3g frozen screen

samevthing happened to me your gonna have to plugg your iphone into the comupter and hold the power and home button down at the same time until it shuts off. Keep holding the buttons down until it powers back on. there should be a picture of a guy wearing holding his hands up in the air on your iphone and itunes should open up on your computer. Now you will have to restore your phone.

IPad shows blank black screen & won't turn off ~ how do I fix?

Try reseting the iPad by holding the home and power buttons simultaneously until the iPad completely shuts down and the Apple logo appears.

Once the Apple logo appears you can release the buttons. If this does not work, you may need to connect your iPad to your computer and do a factory restore using iTunes.

I reset my iphone 3g now all I have is the apple sign. It will not turn on

If your iPhone is jailbroken and you pressed reset all content, the phone will really not load and will be stuck on the apple logo. What you have to do now is to restore the phone using iTunes. To be able for iTunes to detect your iPhone in recovery mode and enable you to restore, you have to enter dfu mode. Just press the home button and sleep button simultaneously for 10 seconds then release the sleep button but still hold the home button until iTunes can detect the phone. Then press restore and let it do the rest of the process.

Re-download the ipsw file that was on your iPhone, Download Spirit to jailbreak, and that should do the trick.

Iphone 3G stuck on emergency call mode..

Try to reinstall a jailbroken version of the iPhone OS.
Do not (ever) use reset to factory if you need the device to be jailbroken to function (e.g. in case you are using an officially unsupported operator/plan)
