My sansa E250 mp3 player keeps freezing on the "Refresh Database" Screen whenever Iturn it on.
I have a 2gb memory card inserted in it and Rhapsody (before my computer stopped recognizing the device) said I had to autherize it. when I tried to autherize the device it got frozen and stuck on the refresh database screen. It turns off, but when I try and turn it back on it just does the same thing. Please Help!! I've tried everything I know how to do :/

This may not work for everyone - but try inserting a TransFlash (also called Micro SD)card in the microSD slot, and power on. It may then correctly refresh its database. It worked in my case, with firmware ver11.

Press the "lock" button to where the Orange is showing. Then press the record button on the left side of the MP3 for a bit. Try this several times. I did it twice and it worked! M.P.

Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select format when prompted. http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool. - Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds) - Slide the hold switch into "hold" position. - Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer. Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted. Best of Luck.
