You have a defrost problem. Locate your defrost timer while the unit is iced up and turn it until you hear a defined click. At this point open the freezer and listen for ice cracking. If Ice starts cracking then it's your defrost timer bad. If ice doesn't crack, then you have a defrost component bad ( heater and Bi-Metal) Ohm out your heating element and replace if there is no continuity. You can usually find defrost timer either under the front of the box, in the fridge around the light or thermostat or sometimes in the back at the bottom. The dial on the timer can only be turned one way with a large flat head. You will hear the difference in the way the clicks sound for the defined click. Good luck.

Remove the rear panel inside the freezer . Defrost the drain tray whr=ere the drain hole is until water will flow down it . Hot water sometimes helps . Use a small hose inserted into the drain and blow out any debris . Get a Solid ALUMINUM wire about 9 inches long (14-16 guage) and put into the hole as far as possible without using force (bend the wire if necessary) and make a hook with the other end ahich you should hook onto the defrost heater . This ALUMINUM wire will keep the drain hole cleared of ice due to the transfer of heat from the glass defrost heater . Do not make the hook too tight for fear of breaking the glass covering on the heater .

Its defrost problem. Try manual defrost by unplugging the refrigerator from main power outlet for 24 hours then reconnect it and check, if the same problem is noticed again,. If yes then its defrost board problem. The defrost board located in the back of fridge section.
